Back to normal now after a great show had at the Cuckoo Fayre in Laughton over the Bank Holiday weekend. We had a great time and we hope you did too? It was lovely to see some old faces and even nicer to meet some new ones.
If you haven't experienced a country show or wood fair yet then come along to the Ringmer Steam & Country Show on the 29th and 30th of July where we will have our pitch out for all to see what we get up to here in Lewes at our showroom and workshop.
So if you decide to attend then do come over and say hello to us.
Either way, it is a great day out for the whole family so check out their website here .

We hope everyone had a lovely and relaxing Easter! Now that (hopefully) everyone is back to normal after the holidays it is back to business as usual.
As normal we are keeping nice and busy with the door & furniture stripping and restoration side of things. We are currently working on a few projects which are exciting for us as well.
We have also decided to pitch up at a few wood and steam fayres this year as we didn't get much of a chance to show our faces last year so we thought we would get back out there this year.
The first one that we have a pitch for is the up coming Cuckoo Fayre at Laughton, Nr Lewes which runs over the last May bank holiday weekend.

We will have our usual items for sale including furniture, Architectural Salvage & rural by-gone's for your perusal. We will also have information regarding what we do here in Lewes so please feel free to have a look at our stall and say hi with any questions that you may have.
We also have a few Ardingly Woodfairs booked throughout the summer along with the Ringmer Steam & Country Show, Hellingly and Bentley Woodfair.
So if you have those in your diary then make a note to take a look at what we do, you are also more than welcome to visit us at our Showroom Workshop in Brook Street, Lewes BN7 2BA

April 2016

Happy spring time to everyone. Good to finally see some sunshine and colour. The showroom now has more old pine wardrobes and cupboards and we will be getting 2 triple wardrobes this week. Pictures will follow. We also have some period bedside cabinets/ pot cupboards, singles and possibly some doubles.

We have also just cleared a salvage yard in London of their doors, so there are lots we are using to make up the batches that are asked for. Many are still in the paint but will be stripped before being sold.

A note for later in the year: August/ September is 'ArtWave'. We have an artist, Michelle, who will be displaying her paintings within the showroom for that period. We will also have plenty of information to give out regarding her work and commissions. Hours of opening and more info will follow closer to the time.

The workshop is extremely busy so our turn around times for jobs, especially doors is between 4 -12 weeks. With the exception of single doors. We can deliver most items once purchased if required.

So for now enjoy the season.
